1. Make Sure Your Nose Is Fully Healed

   There are two main reasons for this. First, you might decide you don’t want a revision at all after seeing your final nose job results, which can take up to a year to develop. So be sure you are accurately assessing your results before deciding to change them.

   Secondly, your plastic surgeon will need to be able to provide an accurate assessment of your nasal anatomy and won’t be able to schedule your revision rhinoplasty until your nose has completely healed from the initial procedure.

2. Schedule Your Revision Rhinoplasty Consultation

   Choose the plastic surgeon for your revision nose job wisely, as this procedure is even more intricate and complex than the initial nose job. 

   Look at before and after revision rhinoplasty photos online to gauge the level of skill and experience of a new plastic surgeon. If you choose to work with a new plastic surgeon for your second procedure, make sure you request that your medical documents be transferred from your old plastic surgeon’s office to your new one.

3. Prep for Surgery Day and Recovery
