Our Fly-In Program

As a leader in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, the Boston Center for Facial Plastics has patients fly in from all over the globe seeking Dr. Waleed Ezzat’s surgical expertise. Located in the hub of advanced medicine, Boston is home to some of the most elite medical centers in the world.

Our practice is conveniently located near Boston’s historic South End, where you can enjoy the historical sites, pocket city parks and beautiful cobblestone streets, grab a bite at one of the many eateries and recuperate in nearby luxury hotels. Dr. Ezzat and his staff will help you feel right at home during your time with us.

Personalized Care from the Start

Dr. Ezzat prides himself on achieving beautifully natural results that work with your unique features. He has helped many different people from all walks of life and enjoys meeting and working with individuals around the U.S. and internationally. He is conscious of the beliefs and expectations of each world region.

Dr. Ezzat recognizes and values the importance of cultural differences and will work with you so that you feel comfortable and confident moving forward. His thorough knowledge of common techniques employed in surgery from each world region gives him the advantage when working to correct issues from previous procedures.

Your Virtual Consultation

We understand that traveling for plastic surgery can be expensive, that is why we work with you to ensure this process is as stress-free as possible. While an in-person consultation gives Dr. Ezzat the full ability to assess your concerns and goals, we do offer an initial virtual consultation to help accommodate your needs.

During your virtual consultation, Dr. Ezzat will discuss your aesthetic concerns and personal goals via Skype. Dr. Ezzat will then be able to provide a preliminary estimate on your treatment plan and the amount of time you will need to stay in Boston for your surgery and initial recovery.

Dr. Ezzat recommends that his patients wait two weeks before travel but no sooner than 10 days after surgery if absolutely needed. You will be able to ask any questions you may have about the surgery during the consult and share photos of your ideal results.

This is also an excellent time to learn more about Dr. Ezzat’s education and training, patient-care philosophy and facilities that he will use during your surgery. Be sure to use this time to get a good understanding of what to expect before surgery so you can be prepared when you arrive.

Traveling and Accommodations

Patients flying into Boston typically use Boston Logan International Airport, which is approximately 5 miles southwest of our practice. There are several hotels conveniently located near our practice that can accommodate just about any budget. Once you have scheduled your surgery, Dr. Ezzat and his staff can help arrange your hotel stay.

How to Prepare for Surgery Abroad

To help ensure your plastic surgery vacation goes smoothly, we’ve compiled a list of items to bring and things to do:

  • Bring accurate records of medical history, including current medications, previous procedures and previous treatments
  • Bring a travel buddy — enlist a family member or friend to help you during your trip
  • Have medical insurance available in case of injury
  • Bring comfort items to make your hotel feel like home while recovering like comfortable, loose-fitting clothing, snacks and a blanket and pillow.

Pro Tip: Give yourself plenty of time to rest before the procedure.

We recommend arriving at least a few days before the surgery to give you time to get over jetlag, acclimate to your surroundings and different time zone, and take in the sights and sounds of the city before you need to focus on rest and recovery.
