A Message from Dr. Ezzat

To our cherished patients:

I hope this letter finds all of you and your families well and staying healthy. Over the past 8 weeks or so, this country has taken unprecedented steps to combat the spread of the COVID-19 virus. I want to applaud all of you for doing your part to “flatten the curve” of infection rates.
To assist patients and the community, I have moved consultations to a virtual platform. Contact us online to schedule a virtual consultation.

Clearly, all of our lives have taken on a new look. For myself, in an attempt to assist my colleagues, patients, and the community, I have moved consultations to a virtual platform, canceled all elective surgeries, and have been called in emergently to assist with patients who require intervention at the hospital.

Many of you have experienced canceled procedures or delays in consultations/treatments. I want to express my sincere gratitude for your understanding and patience and reassure you that we have not forgotten about you.

While I have no doubt that COVID-19 will continue to be a part of our life for some time, it appears that the number of patients within area hospitals are declining. If this trend continues, it is likely that elective surgeries may be resumed relatively soon. Your next question may be, “how soon?”  Unfortunately, I do not know but it appears that we are weeks away.

We are also planning that clinics will be opening shortly thereafter as well. In that hope, I wanted to reach out and reassure you that I will not re-open or begin performing elective surgery again until I am confident that we can do so in a manner that best protects you, your family and the healthcare team. For those interested in scheduling a virtual consultation, please contact us online. In the coming weeks, I will continue to post changes in protocol for those coming in for outpatient procedures and the clinic for consultation or treatment. While this will be a change in how we typically operate, I do not anticipate any deviation from your overall experience or the results we provide.

I look forward to picking up where we left off and beginning to serve you again!

Best,
