Dr. Ezzat joined other facial plastic surgeons for the 2019 American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) Annual Meeting. This event brings together facial plastic surgeons and other medical professionals from all over the world to share and learn about the best practices and innovative techniques from experts in their fields.
Dr. Ezzat Presented on Revision Rhinoplasty
As a leader in corrective and cosmetic rhinoplasty, Dr. Ezzat was selected by AAFPRS to share his expertise in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at this year’s annual meeting. He presented on his innovative rhinoplasty techniques covering the following topics:
- How to position the nasal tip during rhinoplasty
- Repairing rhinoplasty from previous decades
- Revision rhinoplasty after failed nasal implants
Adds Mentorship to His Repertoire
Dr. Ezzat serves as a chair for the committee on reconstructive surgery and was recently selected to be a mentor for new facial plastic surgeons. One of his first loves has always been teaching, so getting to guide and support new surgeons at the beginning of their careers is an honor for him.
“This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity, and I’m looking forward to being able to assist another surgeon with getting their career started and helping them navigate the early pitfalls of establishing themselves as a plastic surgeon,” Dr. Ezzat says.
What’s Next for Dr. Ezzat
Dr. Ezzat plans to share his expertise internationally. His next speaking engagement is in Taiwan at the beginning of February at the 9th World Congress of Facial Plastic Surgery with the World Congress of Facial Plastic Surgery. He’s been working with this organization since 2009 and continues to support and provide insight into the current and future advancements of facial plastic surgery.
