Want a brighter, refreshed complexion before seeing friends and family for the holidays?

These three last-minute med spa treatments can deliver bright and cheery results in as little as 2 weeks’ time.

  1. BOTOX® Cosmetic

Don’t let forehead wrinkles and crow’s feet keep you from looking your holiday best this year. BOTOX® is one of the most popular cosmetic treatments available and has even been shown to have a preventative effect on future wrinkles when used regularly.

While this treatment usually takes 20 minutes or less to perform and doesn’t require any downtime, you’ll want to schedule your appointment at least 2 weeks before Thanksgiving dinner or another big event. It can take this amount of time to see your full results.

  2. Injectable Fillers

Fillers are another popular nonsurgical cosmetic treatment and are commonly used to temporarily smooth away the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around your mouth and nose. Injectable fillers can also be used to add volume to your cheeks and/or lips.

Like BOTOX, fillers should be administered at least 2 weeks before an event. Some people experience swelling, bruising and redness that usually resolve within this amount of time.

  3. Laser Skin Resurfacing

If sun damage, dark spots, wrinkles, acne scars or a dull, lackluster complexion are your major concerns, Dr. Ezzat and his team might recommend laser skin resurfacing. This med spa treatment gently removes the outer layer of skin while promoting collagen growth underneath.

Laser skin resurfacing treatments can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours to complete.

Again, you’ll want to give yourself at least 2 weeks of wiggle room in between your laser treatment and a holiday party.
